A Georgia native, Dr. Mathis has completed extensive training in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery in several areas of the US, and truly loves the impact these surgeries can make on patients’ lives. “I love that, unlike many surgical fields, bariatric surgery allows a lifelong relationship with my patients and truly improves patients’ mental and physical health.
