Dr. Terry Scarborough, FACS
Leading Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Terry Scarborough has dedicated his professional life to bariatric surgery and helping his patients achieve a healthier, happier life. After graduating with a medical degree and honors from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, he continued on to Baylor University, to complete his surgical residency. While there, Dr. Scarborough was a laparoscopic fellow and later became the first surgeon in New Mexico to perform a laparoscopic kidney transplant in the region. As a leader in the Houston bariatric community, Dr. Scarborough has performed thousands of surgeries since his career began in 1999 and is a highly experienced surgeon at Texas Laparoscopic Consultants.
