Board-Certified Bariatric Surgeon, Dr. Sheilendra Suresh Mehta is a leader in minimally invasive procedures at Texas Laparoscopic Consultants. As an undergraduate, Dr. Mehta graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Tech University and went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Medical School at Houston McGovern Medical School. In addition to his passion for helping patients achieve their weight loss goals, he is the Medical Director of the Bariatric Surgery Program at Memorial Hermann Sugarland Hospital and was instrumental in helping them to achieve their Center of Excellence designation in December of 2017.
