Dr. Kevin Krause, FACS

Dr. Krause has been an associate at Royal Oak Surgical and on staff at Beaumont Hospital since 2001. He is an Assistant Professor of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He is also the Director of Bariatric Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Corewell Health East William Beaumont University Hospital, Royal Oak. He attended the University of Notre Dame. He then completed his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and was a member of the AOA Honor Society. Dr. Krause then finished a residency in surgery at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). He serves as a consultant to train surgeons in advanced laparoscopic techniques. He has been named Hour Detroit Magazine’s Top Docs in Bariatric Surgery for many years. He and his team provide specialty education, resources and services in the areas of advanced laparoscopy and robotics with a focus on bariatric surgery.
