Andrew Loveitt, DO
Board Certified General Surgeon Andrew Loveitt, D.O., joined CRMC's Medical Staff in 2017 when he began his post graduate advanced surgical training at the Minnesota Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery. He was named a Surgeon of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation in 2020 and serves as CRMC's Robotics and Hernia programs' Medical Director. Originally from Gorham, Maine, Dr. Loveitt earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and his Bachelor of Science degree at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Penn. He completed a General Surgery Residency at Rowan University in Stratford, New Jersey. Dr. Loveitt's certification is by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). The surgeon has won numerous academic awards, published several papers, and served as a teaching assistant. His wife, Courtenay Deane, is an Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine physician at CRMC. Outside of work, Dr. Loveitt enjoys numerous outdoor recreation activities including kayaking, cycling, camping, and fishing.
