Dr. Angel Reyes, FACS, FASMBS, DABOM
Angel Reyes, MD, FACS, FASMBS, DABOM, is a distinguished Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted bariatric procedures. Dr. Reyes believes first-rate medical care must be holistic and attend to mind, body and spirit. It must also emphasize patient education, ensuring patients understand the disease process, how medical and surgical interventions can help, and the path to a healthy lifestyle.
A veteran of the United States Army, Dr. Reyes served as Director of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.
Dr. Reyes is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). He is a member of The Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), American Hernia Society (AHS), Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (AGES), and a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (DABOM).
