Dr. Dusty Smith, MD FACS
Dr. Dusty Smith joined SAMPA in July 2012. She is a native of Bay Minette, Alabama. Dr. Smith is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and specializes in the treatment of obesity through weight loss surgery, breast cancer and other diseases of the abdomen. Dr. Smith is also trained and experienced in the placement of the non-surgical Orbera intragastric balloon system for weight loss. Breast cancer surgery is not only an area of focus for Dr. Smith but improving early detection and successful treatment rates is a very personal goal of hers.
Dr. Smith and her husband, Craig, have 3 daughters and are members of Fairhope United Methodist Church.
Dr. Smith was recently chosen as an Honoree by the American Cancer Society for Croquet and Cocktails 2018
