Dr. Forrest Ringold is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in bariatric surgery, hernia surgery and surgical treatment for GERD or chronic acid reflux. Dr. Ringold was recently designated to lead the robotic epicenter at Infirmary Health in Mobile, Alabama. As an epicenter designated surgeon, he trains surgical teams from all around the United States and the world in advanced robotic surgical technique.
Dr. Ringold practices at Surgical Association of Mobile, a pioneering surgical practice that has many surgical firsts to its name. Indeed, Dr. Ringold was the first surgeon in the world to use the novel Synchroseal device from Intuitive Surgical.
