Dr. Sapna Nagar, FACS

Dr. Nagar is an Assistant Professor at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and the newest Associate at Royal Oak Surgical. She has been in practice since 2014. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan graduating with honors. She attended Wayne State University School of Medicine and was inducted into the AOA Honor Society. She then completed surgical training at William Beaumont Hospital. Dr. Nagar went on to complete further fellowship training at the University of Chicago in endocrine surgery. She is a candidate member of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons. Her areas of expertise include endocrine surgical procedures including surgical removal of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. Additionally, she performs general surgical and laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Nagar is dedicated to ensuring that her patients feel empowered and engaged in their disease processes and treatment plans.

Dr. Nagar recently received the “focused practice” designation by the American Board of Surgery in endocrine surgery a recognition of high volume and ability to provide multidisciplinary care. Only about 300 endocrine surgeons and ENTs in the US have this designation.
