Dr Shaan Akhtar
Dr. Shaan Akhtar is a fellowship trained minimally invasive, robotic, and bariatric surgeon. He is a native of Arizona, who graduated from Arizona State University for undergraduate education, and the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix for his medical school training.
He fell in love with Midwest while in his general surgery residency training at the University of Kansas-Wichita. Dr. Akhtar completed fellowship training in minimally invasive, robotic, and bariatric surgery at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX.
In his free time, Dr. Akhtar enjoys golf, basketball, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
