Dr. Sherman C. Yu, FACS
Board-Certified Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Sherman Yu, is highly experienced and passionate about patient care. Dr. Yu graduated with honors from Baylor University, where he received his medical degree. After completing his surgical residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Dr. Yu returned to Texas to become an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He now dedicates his career to weight loss surgery and helping patients achieve their weight loss goals at Texas Laparoscopic Consultants in Houston. Dr. Yu maintains memberships with the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, in addition to several others.
