Shadi Aboudi, MD FACS
Shadi Aboudi, MD, FACS is a bariatric and general surgeon with Ascension Medical Group who is board certified with the American College of Surgeons and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Aboudi specializes in bariatric surgical procedures for men and women over the age of 18, with the Roux en y gastric bypass and the sleeve gastrectomy procedures being the gold standard for morbid obesity. Free informational seminars are offered at various locations to help educate patients on these life changing procedures.
Dr. Aboudi also has a general surgery practice specializing in general surgery, trauma, colon cancer, acute abdominal surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, hiatal, incisional and inguinal hernias. GERD (gasto esophageal reflux disease) is another area of expertise.
Outside of the office, Dr. Aboudi enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling, watching and playing soccer.
