Sheetal Nijhawan MD, FACS
Sheetal Nijhawan MD, FACS is a board-certified surgeon and the Medical Director for the Center for Weight Control at Sharon Regional. She completed a general surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH and a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the University of California in San Diego. Dr. Nijhawan has also served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama.
Dr. Nijhawan is a member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES),and the American Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (ASMBS).
